I’ve heard so many good things about this mascara, but the price has always scared me and I just love my $7 drugstore mascara. I got a free sample of "Lights, Camera, Lashes" in the mail when I purchased something else from Ulta and WOW. Now I get it. It gives your lashes amazing volume, length and does not clump one bit. I still love my L'Oreal Carbon Black but once this Tarte mini runs out… I just may have to fork out the $20 and purchase. Once again, Tarte does not disappoint.
Ever since I started braiding my hair to get no-heat, beachy waves, I’ve never been 100% happy with any product I’ve used to set the style. I’ve tried so many hairsprays, gels, and curl enhancers but nothing has really impressed me. A trusted Ulta employee recommended this product to me and I’m so glad she did. It does exactly what I need it to! It holds the curl without looking crunchy and gives texture and definition to the waves. Mmmm, and it smells incredible.
This product is my new obsession. It took me a couple times to get the hang of this pencil since I’ve only ever used gel and powder on my brows, but once I did I fell in love! This is perfect for someone who wants a filled, but very natural brow. Still, I was very skeptical that it is advertised as universal. How could a brow pencil that works for my very dark brows work for someone with blonde hair? Seems too good to be true, right? Well it’s not! I recently tried it on a client during her wedding trial who has red hair and brows that are obviously a lot lighter than mine and it looked amazing on her! Love that this product also comes in a mini.
TARTE
Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush (peaceful)
So I have a confession. Blush has always scared me. A LOT. In high school I tried a drugstore blush and it broke me out horribly. Ever since then I stayed away from blush. It was only until my wedding that I considered wearing it but it still made me nervous. Despite my (irrational) fears, I found a beautiful blush by Estee Lauder that did not break out my skin and since then it's the only one I’ve really been using. As you should all know by now, Tarte has been my obsession as of late so I decided to try out a couple of their blushes. I’ve heard nothing but good things about them and I was not disappointed. I purchased a couple of different colors but fell in love with the color Peaceful. It’s a gorgeous peachy pink with just the right amount of shimmer. These blushes are EXTREMELY pigmented, so be sure to apply with a very delicate hand.
In addition to the pressed blush, I also tried out this cream blush in the color Shimmering Peach. I haven't experimented with many cream products before and I was pleasantly surprised by this blush. The color is beautiful, blends effortlessly and gives a subtle rosiness to the cheeks. I set this blush with a translucent powder and it lasted all day!
What were your March favorites!? Please share as you all know how much I love trying new products :)
