URBAN DECAY COSMETICS Naked2 Basics
I am in LOVE with the first Naked Basics palette so I just had to try the newest palette. The matte shades are similar to Basics1 but you get a few cooler greys/browns and a pink shade. I also love love love the highlighter. I would say it's a little less intense than the highlighting shadow in Basics1 and more of a pinky hue. The pigmentation is also just as great as Basics1. Overall I feel that it is different enough from Basics1 and a great purchase!

Its a 10 Potion 10 Miracle Styling Potion
I cannot stress how essential this product is to my hair care routine now that I've be using it for about a month. I have very frizzy hair and this product tames my hair down amazingly without making it look greasy or heavy. Did I mention that it smells incredible? Life-changing.

Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Deep Pore Cleansing, 1 Pound
I can't tell you how long I had been contemplating purchasing this product but I finally did! I think I was kind of annoyed that the mask comes in powder form and needs to be mixed with Apple Cider Vinegar (GAG) in order to use. It is truly silly how long I waited. This is the only mask I've every tried that I actually feel made a difference in my skin. About 5 minutes after applying you feel your face start to tighten dramatically as it dries. It's honestly the strangest feeling. But the next day I see a significant reduction in the size of my pimples and sometimes a little peeling. I would be cautious with this mask if you have skin that tends to dry out. After washing it off, be sure to apply a very hydrating moisturizer.
Tarte smooth operatorβ’ Amazonian clay finishing powder
I've already talked about this finishing powder A LOT, but I can't help it! I love it that much! And I really did just purchase it for the first time in December... so I can talk about it again right? Anyways, it's awesome for controlling oil, has great lasting power, and gives a soft airbrushed yet still extremely natural look.
REAL TECHNIQUES Miracle Complexion Sponge
I originally purchased this because I needed a new sponge for applying foundation and it was on sale at Ulta. I ended up hating it for applying foundation, but found that it is AMAZING for blending out under-eye concealer which is now what I use it for exclusively. I don't even have to get it wet before I use it and it blends effortlessly. I love using the flat side because it fits under my eyes perfectly and the pointed end is great for blending the inner corner. Great purchase.
STILA Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner
As much as I love the cheapness of Jordana Fabuliner Liquid Eye Liner, it will never even come close to the perfection that is this STILA liner. The liner comes out so smoothly and it is SO pigmented. Gosh no wonder this product is ALWAYS sold out at Ulta. The felt applicator is very easy to control and you have 15 colors to choose from which is also super fun! It's seriously an amazing product to create the perfect winged eyeliner.
SEXY HAIR Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play Volumizing Hairspray
I actually bought the travel size of this hairspray for a trip I went on and now I want to purchase the full size! The price makes me cringe a bit but it is an incredible product. I use on my second-day curls (...and third and fourth) and it gives them so much more life and body. It has great holding power, but is still touchable and not too crunchy.
Eyebrow Shaper/Razor
Last but not least is kind of a weird one. I recently heard someone talking about this product on a YouTube favorites video and it was so cheap, I had to try it. Despite the name, I don't use them for "shaving my brows" but really just to clean up any excess hair on the face. For example, I shape my brows by plucking and then use this razor to trim the thin hairs above my brows. Quick and painless! It works for any other areas on the face as well (chin, upper lip area, etc.) Great for any quick clean up work you need to do!
That's it for my December/January favorites. What were your favorite products last month?
